The 20/20 Vision PlanWe asked one of our 16-year-old boys what he planned to be doing when he was 20. With a non-expressive look on his face, he replied, “I don’t think I’ll be alive.” Every kid needs to have a vision. Many of our teens live in the midst of anger, despair, violence and hopelessness. Their daily reality is surrounded by abuse, depression, gangs, drugs and abandonment. They can’t see beyond their current circumstance. Rocketown can offer a different vision. What if they could see themselves graduating high school and going to college? What if they could see opening their own business? What is they could see living in a safe neighborhood and not wondering if they will have food to eat tonight? That’s where the 20/20 Vision Plan comes in. You can help them see a brighter future with 20/20 Vision. We need you to share that vision with us. Through the 20/20 Vision Plan, we are asking you to support one kid with a monthly donation of $20.00. Your donation will make sure that kids have whatever they need in order to be successful – from free counseling to tutoring to a trusted mentor.
